Pain and Inflammation
Cannabis Sativa has a long history of medical use with some of the earliest records found in Egyptian medical Papyrus dating circa 1550 BC. Many people today still may find relief using full-spectrum CBD to help reduce inflammation and pain for many maladies, ranging from arthritis to sore, over-worked muscles. Chronic pain affects between 50 and 116 million American adults, a staggering number that surpasses those affected by heart disease, cancer, and diabetes combined
Anxiety and Depression
Mental health is currently a major public health challenge worldwide. Approximately one in four people experience some type of mental health problem at least once in their life. Research has shown CBD may improve symptoms from anxiety and depression, and possibly other mental health disorders. There are currently many studies being done. Epilepsy
According to the World Health Organization Epilepsy affects more than 50 million people worldwide. The first CBD-based medication that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved was Epidiolex. Doctors prescribe Epidiolex to those who experience seizures due to Lennox-Gastrault or Dravet Syndrome, which are two types of Epilepsy. Epidiolex underwent rigorous human studies before the FDA approved it as a treatment for these two conditions.

Terpenes
Terpenes are the largest, diverse group of naturally occurring compounds that are mostly found in plants. Terpene is a natural compound with various medical properties. They can ward off pathogens, predators, and competitors. Cannabis is one of the most common sources for medicinal terpenes. It contains many medicinal properties such as anti-cancer, antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antiviral, anti-hyperglycemic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti- parasitic. At Boot Ranch Farms our hemp strains are one of the highest quality terpene profiles.
How CBD works in the body
CBD enters the body through the endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid is a network of neurotransmitters and receptors in your body. The endocannabinoid system plays an essential role in our central nervous system and immune systems.
